Re: Simple color grading

I have more time today, so here is some more info on the color grading. It will be a standard part of the post processing chain. We plan on supporting the usual 3D texture based LUTs. I also added support for 2D texture vesions of the same texture layouts, so if users have issues with making 3D LUTs...

Simple color grading

Added some simple LUT based color grading for demo scene testing. It's a very simple first implementation, until the post chain and volume textures get added, but good enough for now. It's very easy to tailor a scene to the desired mood/feel this way. Some screenshots with random LUTs: (1920ish shot...

No, this is still GL. The same alpha client you guys have with a customized shader loaded.

Re: Pushing polies in the alpha client. Because it's fun.

Here are some shots with Stanley standing around in the scene, in order to show that dynamic objects are easy to get lit up correctly due to the high quality light probe system we are aiming for. Even complex materials like weathered ditrty metals will work and integrate well into the scene with ref...

Shader Tutorial thread, let's learn shaders C3D style.

In this thread I will build a C3D shader step by step, starting with very simple things and then adding more as we go. Hopefully it helps people coming from non-shader engines to make own shaders. That said, C3D does not require you to write shaders, the engine comes with a versatile PBR shader from...

Re: Pack of Shaders

The engine will come with a default PBR shader that should do most of what people need.
If needed other special effect shaders will also be provided.

That said, using own custom shaders is ofcourse also an option.
